Lincoln Baptist Church

A caring, sharing family of God’s people

Luncheon Club

The Luncheon Club served its first meal on 7 May 1981 at a price of  60p for a main course, sweet and cup of tea.

The Aim was, and remains:

"Serving the elderly in the area around the church.

To show Christian love and friendship as well as

  serving a hot meal".

We now have over 40 names on our register of people living in the area and beyond but the price has changed to £2.50.

Diners start arriving from 12 noon for a chat and lunch is served at 12.30pm.  We seek to show Christian love and support to those who comes week by week, many of whom, because of age, have varying needs.   Some of our diners have been coming for many years and appreciate the friendship we offer.

Anyone interested in joining us for lunch is very welcome.   Please contact Janet Green via the church phone (01522 575745) or by email at contact@lincolnbaptist.co.uk for more details.
